Marsha Keechler, CNM
Marsha Keechler, CNM, is a Certified Nurse Midwife. Graduating in 1991 with honors and over 28 years of diverse experience in Yuma helping empower women make informed decisions about their health and wellness.
“Hoosier” by birth but raised on the San Francisco Peninsula in the 60’s. Marsha has 5 children and 15 grand children. In founding The Midwife’s Kitchen her hope for the future is to give the women of Yuma a few more choices in their health care.
Tracey Dominguez, Administrator, CMAA, Certified Birthing Assistant
Administrator, Certified Medical Assistant, Birthing Assistant, Certified Phlebotomist , Certified Coder/Biller. Tracey received her certifications through Regional Center for Border Health in 2011 and discovered her passion for the medical field. While working at The Midwife’s Kitchen, she has also become a Certified Birthing Assistant.
Tracey was born and raised in Yuma. She has three children and nine grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoys her career and plans to continue and expand knowledge through experience and continued education.
Kiana Dominguez, Receptionist, Certified Birthing Assistant
Kiana has experience in reception tasks including answering phones, scheduling, and welcoming patients with a warm smile. Kiana is also a Certified birthing assistant at The Midwife’s Kitchen.
Kiana was born and raised in Yuma. She has five children, with the youngest being twins. Her busy home life with her children provides experiences, understanding, and knowledge to our patients. She is eager to continue increasing her skills and expertise.
Erin Powell, LPN
Erin is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), licensed in 2012, with over a decade of experience in pediatric and in-home care. Originally from Louisiana, she is a military spouse and proud mother of three. Erin has lived in Yuma for two years and has been part of The Midwife’s Kitchen clinical staff since April 2024. As a labor and delivery nurse, she is deeply committed to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. With a strong focus on women’s health, Erin strives to empower women to make informed decisions about their healthcare and ensure they receive compassionate, individualized support.
Emily Hughey, LPN
Emily Hughey, LPN Emily completed her Licensed Practical Nursing program in Florida. Her interest in natural birthing began while living abroad in England and hearing of the popular midwife led natural births from the mums there. Emily then moved to Yuma where Marsha delivered her 3rd baby. She feels very blessed for the opportunity to learn and grow under Marsha and alongside the wonderful team at The Midwife’s Kitchen.
Ayani Flores, CNA
Ayani was Born in Oregon and raised in Yuma AZ and has grown to love this town and its people. She started working at The Midwife’s in 2024 as a student intern. She graduated high school receiving her HS Diploma and officially became part of the Midwife’s Kitchen’s family. Ayani is an LNA, birthing assistant, and a college student working towards her BSN with the end goal of becoming a future Midwife.
Harley Rodriguez, Certified Lactation Consultant, BS in Forensic Psychology
Harley Rodriguez is a proud mother of two beautiful daughters and a Certified Lactation Consultant with a BS in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University.
Harley offers a unique approach to breastfeeding support, she understands how past experiences can impact a mother’s journey through breastfeeding and motherhood.
With a blended focus on both mental and physical well-being, Harley helps families navigate the challenges of breastfeeding, pumping, and so much more.
Harley offers one-on-one consultations to help mothers and babies thrive.
She also offers group workshops on a range of topics related to breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and newborn care. Harley is dedicated to creating a safe and comforting space where parents can learn and feel confident in their ability to nurture their little ones.
